From the time I was a young child, I noticed this sense of renewal, grounding, and transformation in myself and others from being in nature, participating in physical activities, and being creative and playful. As an adult, these things continued to inspire me, leading me to found Fundamental Growth. I’ve developed my unique approach through years of research, specialized study, and real life practice in the benefits of mindfulness, movement, body awareness, creativity, play and the outdoors.
I recognized the need for therapy sessions that incorporated these more unique therapeutic tools to accelerate and enhance the benefits of traditional talk therapy for a wide range of issues. And having a background in athletic coaching, I saw how they could also be helpful to those who don’t have mental health issues, but could use some extra support in moving forward in their careers and life as a whole. I’m very passionate about helping people, especially those who have felt that traditional therapy did not work well for them.
